Our Mission

As a California native, I am passionate about bridging the gap between high school and college, particularly for students who choose to leave the state to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our mission is to provide these students with a robust network of peers who share similar experiences, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to thrive in their educational journey.

Creating a Strong HBCU Presence in California

Our goal is to establish a more significant HBCU presence in California. We believe that students here deserve the opportunities and experiences that HBCUs offer. There is so much that traditional school systems don't teach, and we aim to fill that gap by offering mentorship, guidance, and support. We want to be the mentors that students can count on, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.

Raising Funds for Our Initiatives

To support our mission, we actively raise funds through various initiatives. Your donations help us create and sustain programs that benefit our students. Here’s how you can contribute:

• Givebutter Donations: We have partnered with Givebutter to make donating easy and secure. Your contributions directly support our educational programs, scholarships, and resources for students.

• T-Shirt Fundraiser: Show your support by purchasing our specially designed t-shirts. Not only will you be helping our cause, but you'll also be raising awareness about the importance of financial education and HBCUs.
